The Brazilian presence on the international fairs
 

Brazil has completed four years of participation on international fairs. This experience, though having elevated coasts, brought ripening and a better comprehension, from the participating companies, the way they behavior and which are the expectations of the countries that visit us in our stands.

In a first moment, the companies understood that its products line, with light alterations, were enough to present themselves to the international market and evaluated the receptivity of their products on several fairs in which Brazil made itself represent.

By little, the companies learnt that the packaging features, the shape and the capacity of the product not always attend the importers expectations. The companies with major sensibility soon take this into account and, on the next year, they already come with the versions that most awaken interest on buyers, and starts to realize little exportations.
Those that uses in its formulations oils and extracts originated from the several biomes that compounds the Brazilian biodiversity, learns that its packaging, bulls and folders needs more technical and scientific specifications, in order that the foreigners can better understand which are the function of these raw-materials. They also learn that the actives extracted o four forests needs to be certificated, because this shows the great preoccupation with the environmental preservation. The certification guarantees the quality of the raw materials and, by its turn, of the final product taken to these fairs.
It is gratifying to perceive how much the companies have evoluted these last four years. Today, many of them already disputes the participation on important markets. The APEX – Brazilian Agency for Export Promotion – divulges the Brazilian products on the foreign trade, divides with our sector the success the Brazilian products on the international market, consolidating the exportations this year on around US$ 400 million dollars. Until the end of 2005, Brazil will have exported for more then 140 countries, which demonstrates clearly the interest for our products on the international market.
